Choose Coorg for a rounded family break

Madikeri and surrounding areas offer a familiar combination of viewpoints, waterfall stops, food and easy sightseeing. It works well for first-time hill travellers and mixed-age families.

Choose Chikkamagaluru for high viewpoints and scenic drives

Travellers drawn to mountain roads, Mullayanagiri-side scenery and a stronger “drive through the hills” experience may prefer Chikkamagaluru.

How many days?

Two nights is more comfortable than forcing a long drive, full sightseeing day and return into an overpacked weekend. Add time if you want relaxed meals or multiple viewpoints.
